Europäische Kommission prüft Übernahme von Activision durch Microsoft

Die EU-Kartellbehörden nehmen sich, sicherlich nicht überraschend und
meines Wissens auch geplant, Activision Blizzards Übernahme durch
Microsoft vor. Man
wolle
bis zum 8. November entscheiden, ob sie die geplante
69-Milliarden-Dollar-Übernahme genehmigen, wie aus einem am Freitag
eingereichten Antrag hervorgeht. Auch die britische Regulierungsbehörde
CMA überprüft das Ganze derzeit. Laut Microsoft verlaufe die Übernahme
im Einklang mit dem erwarteten Zeitplan und Prozess der
Regulierungsbehörden. Man sei weiterhin zuversichtlich, dass die
Übernahme im Geschäftsjahr 2023 abgeschlossen werden kann.
