Apple: Live-Aktivitäten kommen mit iOS 16.1

Apple hat zum Release von iOS 16 gesagt, dass das vorgestellte Feature
der Live-Aktivitäten erst später in diesem Jahr erscheinen wird. Grund
dafür ist offensichtlich, dass die darunterliegende API noch nicht
bereit für ein Release war. Live-Aktivitäten sollen dabei helfen, eine
laufende Aktivität auf dem Sperrbildschirm oder in der Dynamic Island zu
verfolgen. Dazu gehören beispielsweise Spielstände, der Status der
Essenslieferung und mehr. Auf der Entwickler-Seite
bestätigt der Konzern nun, dass die
Live-Aktivitäten mit dem neuen ActivityKit-Framework mit iOS 16.1
verfügbar sein werden. In der ersten Beta ist das Framework bereits
drin. Entwickler können also jetzt schon ihre Apps dazu vorbereiten. Die
entsprechende Dokumentation gibt es direkt bei Apple.
