A few more hours....I'm movin' now! :) Put the Painter version aside for a bit but found some adjustments that help with the brushes....
Also put the wrinkles aside for a bit cause that missing beak was really bothering me (I usually do some serious work on the eye and the beak first) so beak work!

Another hour or so....working on the wrinkles on the upper right....hard going...learning how to do it as I go. Also which brushes work best and which ones suck for wrinkles. :) Gotta at least be competent before I do my self-portrait.

I think I'm gonna keep working on the Krita version a bit til I feel good about the head/mask/wrinkles. Then go back to the Painter version and do the same. Spent yesterday working on the Krita version…another hour or so filling in the head and beginning work on wrinkles.

Working on the eye...I refuse to let Corel Painter get the better of me! Using Square Pastel with and without the new 'Fluid' brush settings - my take on 'Fluid Brushes/settings' is that it is very much like Flow in other programs like Krita (and I assume photoshop etc.).
Eye is pretty close now will move on with other parts. And also work more on the Krita version. I think I'll keep trading back and forth to compare how easy/difficult the similar results are to produce.
