Man....this is going slow....life getting in the way, but the sprinklers are blown out for winter and clean bill of health from the dentist...and I'm intentionally going slow...the hands are the real challenge here...I've got it down with my pencils but learning to do wrinkles with digital b&w media is a completely different thing. beginning to get a feel for it though...maybe we'll get there. :)

someone asked about layers...I did put this right-side hair on a separate layer because it is overlaying/above parts of the face. This will let me finish the face as hair separately with out additional issues of erasing/reworking.
