What remains of a 1525 building belonging to the Confraternity of San Geminiano and sold in 1605 to the Company of the Sacred Stigmata of San Francesco, which took care of its renovation. The works ended in 1630 with the creation of a church and an adjacent building used to welcome pilgrims and care for the sick.

Four thousand blankets
Hundreds of women voluntarily knit/crochet for a year to make 50x50 cm squares which were assembled in 100x 100 cm.. today Piazza Grande was fully covered!
Purchase donations are in favor of the 'Casa delle Donne' which welcomes women victims of violence.
