Hurricane Milton - with tornadoes historic storm surges - is bearing down in Florida...
... landing full-force in hours.
Well, my family and myself are safe, either force-evacuated or away... Our home, however, may soon be underwater &/or disappeared completely :-( In the dead-center bulls-eye of Milton. Fortunately, remaining family nearby are on high ground, in an evacuation area.
I know many "here", East Coast & West, northern (or north of) FL peninsula, are now bracing, &/or settling into shelters, or on the road, hopefully miles from this. Strong warnings that this will be "non-survivable", and asking anyone who ignores the warnings to kindly write their name on their arms in indelible ink, to facilitate identification. (Morbid, but maybe will get some people 'woke'!)
Time for those thoughts & prayers, both for residents and for anyone in denial land, still thinking climate change is a "hoax".
