Im Oktober wird das Treffen der Unterstützer*innengruppe der FSFE im offline stattfinden. Für den Abend konnten wir Joseph von KDE Eco für einen Vortrag gewinnen. Wenn das interessant klingt und du sowieso gerade in Berlin bist, dann schau doch einfach mal vorbei!

Software hat einen direkten Einfluss auf den Energie- und Ressourcenverbrauch. Seit 2022 hat sich KDE zum Ziel gesetzt, Software bereitzustellen, die dies auf eine Art und Weise tut, die die Umweltauswirkungen von Software für uns und zukünftige Generationen reduziert. In diesem Vortrag werde ich die Arbeit vorstellen, die KDE Eco leistet, um dieses Ziel zu erreichen.Joseph P. De Veaugh-Geiss ist der Community Manager des KDE Eco Projekts. Das Ziel von KDE Eco ist es, Nachhaltigkeit als Teil der Entwicklung und Anwendung Freier Software zu stärken.

In October, the meeting of the FSFE supporters' group will take place at the offline. For the evening we were able to get Joseph from KDE Eco to give a talk. If that sounds interesting and you're in Berlin anyway, then just drop by!
