Good morning/afternoon/evening and welcoem to today's #checkin. Today is national swimming pool day, so let's talk about swimming. Due to corona, nearly all swimming pools were closed and there were no courses for kids to learn to swim. And also before corona, many public swimming pols had to close because the city could not financ,e them any longer. Experts are warning since years that kids don't have the possibility to make their "Seepferdchen" (seahorse, the name of the German swimming badge).

How is the situation in your place? And or talk about swimming in general. Are there many possibilities to swim? Where did you learn to swim?
I was more a fan of jumping from the towers into the water then actually swimming.
