Il faut bien voir, camarades, que si l'ennemi reste le même, les conditions ont changé
Félix Guatarri
"Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose. "
People may change, the state may change, the market and adverstising may change, just so everything else can stay the same. In a rapidly changing world, on culture and technology, it becomes a illusion to think that things are getting better, improving or even changing in the roots or mechanisms. Not to say everything doesn't change, but not what matters.
Everything has been changing and we haven't been able to perceive how those really in power have been manipulating and fucking us over.
This is the cern of the problem in the #right and in the #left. The right wants traditional values and conservadorism, no change. The left wants change and "progress". In practice, all the left could ever do is change everything around, thus coming to the seats of (some) power, then keep changing so they and their friends can keep in power and inherently not changing. Now, the right wants values and traditions back, ignoring the inherent changes in society caused by history, dialetics and technology, just so they can keep in power. But the left has proven this is not how you keep in power. The left is just more articulate to keep with the changes in society and appropriating accordingly with the contemporary times.
Conservadorism will always be beaten up by dialetics.
That is because it's not the left or the right that is in power. Those really in power change according to whatever they want. If governments are turning right, be well damn advised this is just a way to keep your mouths shut.
Leftists: the problem is really not the right.
Rightists: the problem is really not the left.
