i say control the narrative, because i dont think the tech's from alien tech. my own rummagings into the topic showed human inovation created such technology following on the tech arc from faraday to nikola tesla and others, and rentiers wanted to keep us enslaved and disempowered (like the famous contrast between nikola tesla who wanted to power the world for free, healthily, cleanly, and thomas edison wanted to extract wealth from people), and humanity's sublimation to space was stalled, to maintain a rigged game, dominating us, keeping us down (litterally and figuratively).
