The other day I rejected a call then thought I should check who it was so I called it back. It was our cable/Internet provider. They asked if our package was working for us and seemed mostly concerned with Internet. In the end we got a bump in download speed and $10 off our monthly bill.
I also called our ng supplier last month because our bill was double and I thought an auto-payment had been missed. Turns out no, that was our use, but because we're long term customers they gave us a pretty good discount.
Do you often contact your utility suppliers to try to negotiate better prices or is that even possible where you are?
