King Janak requests the sage to go around his palace with a lamp in his hand. Also, ensure that the lamp is lit and does not get put off in between.

The sage goes around the palace with the lamp in his hand. He makes sure the lamp is continuously lit. After that, he returns back to King Janak. The King asks him whether he liked the palace or not. With astonishment on his face, the sage replies that he didn’t see it at all as he was all focused on saving the lamp from being put off. Then King Janak answers the sage’s question that he initially asked. He says this is how he performs all his duties – completely focused and unwavering.

This nakshatra is ruled by the #Sun, representing the strong will and intelligence. The Sun is a significator of authority, government, bosses, vitality, good health, physical strength, continuity and responsibility.
