(And leaving #KDE ... once again. Though this time it doesn't even seem to be KDEs fault but rather, well, a weird fault of complexity in somewhat fragile infrastructure, most notably the wayland/pipewire setup on a Debian stable based system. Point here: With GNOME it seems easier to remain on Xorg which, in turns, despite in a disputable state of maintenance, still works more stable and reliable. KDE/Xorg, on the other side, ended up in a re-occuring nightmare of trying to get my display setup to work every other day. Maybe I'll buy a new external screen supporting HiDPI at some point, but in the given setup. GNOME seems the least bad option. And yes, this all is an utter and b_____ mess. .😔)
