Hi, how are ya – Cass here, testing a new #CheckIn account.

We got our first weather advisory for funnel clouds today. It didn’t seem likely butI kept an eye out as I spent the afternoon digging dandelions out of the lawn while Fred installed gutter guard because our gutters collects leaves form the neighbourhood. It’s spring so it’s crop report time. The upper layers are getting up to seasonal moisture but it’s still really dry under the surface and seeding is behind but getting done.

I grew up in a city and was pretty adamant I would never move to a rural area or even an suburban acreage yet here I am checking crop reports. Are there unique non-emergency news reports in your area? Tide tables, crop reports, etc?
