Wot Kev actually said in his yoks with Joe Hockey:

Speers goes on to say "On a brighter note, for Australia at least, Vance wants far more focus on this part of the world." Eep! No, not brighter - go back to not knowing (or caring) where we are

Is Speers a tad embittered that in his job as a journo he did absolutely nothing to help an Australian find a way through the might of the US, whereas Kev used his diplomacy and cred to help achieve an Australian's recent freedom?
