I go a long way to consume less because I hate the corrupt fiat economy so very much. My smartphone was stuck in booting into 'safe mode' preventing me from using apps. After a couple days I was like fuck I need to buy another one, this is hopeless. I went on the 2nd hand marketplace and made a deal. Next day she tells me she can't sell the phone anymore because she found out the battery was swollen. So I thought; okey, let's try to #fix the damn thing one more time. I searched on the tube for 'samsung safe mode' and browsed through some video's. After couple minutes this guy says 'the problem could also be caused by a broken button' and I thought hey that could be it! I wasn't able to use the volume down button anymore. So I went out of my way to open the damn thing up, cleaned up the button and everything else with rubbing alcohol and put it back together; no resolve. Then out of nowhere a voice in my head said; just rip the damn button off completely what do you have to lose? Problem solved!! I can live without volume down for a little longer

I was thinking to myself; I'm definitely a post-consumer, I get a kick out of not having to buy something new.

Then I remembered they're going to release the first cool phone since the Nokia N900 soon. The Pro1X comes out in November, I don't think I can resist. It's got a keyboard and it ships with #LineageOS plus it's not designed by a corporation so I'd actually believe it's build to last.
