I don't blame #Canonical for ditching #Unity in #Ubuntu, although I actually quite liked it. I'm slowly getting used to the different keyboard shortcuts and everything, and after all, they managed to customise #Gnome in a way that's not very different from what I was used to.

But, as a fan of keyboard based workflows and in my everlasting pursuit of keeping my mouse related RSI to a minimum, I really miss one particular feature: That pressing the Alt key gave me access to a find-as-you-type search of all menu items of the active window. Does anyone know about a way to achieve the same with contemporary Gnome based Ubuntus?
