decades ago i tried to study archaeology. in the end i failed. but during my attempts i participated in three excavation campaigns in summer in northern greece. that was very nice.

during these excavations some of my fellow students managed to get hold of the music equipment in the excavation bus only to broadcast one song repeatedly without end during the day. i was the only one not to like it. so no real opposition. and it was before the existence of bluetooth headsets. during the first summer campaign, then the second and then the third, at least half of the day was treated with just one song: Meri Lida, Pou tha pas.

that was very difficult to sustain. very!

but one decade later i remembered this song, found it on the internet and i managed to associate some positive feeling with it. the song is acutally very nice, you just don't need to listen to it during 5 hours per day.

and nowadays it brings back fond memories. fond memories i am sure i never had back then ... at least about this music. the excavations were great, though ...
