The View from the Tower (1932)

When Mrs Glü, from the highest panoramic tower, took a look down, in the street below, similar to a minuscule toy but recognisable without a doubt by the colour of his coat, her son appeared; a second later this toy was run over and destroyed by a truck which looked like a toy as well - anyway the whole thing lasted not even an instant of unreal brevity, and everything was only a matter between toys.
“I don’t go down!”, cried at that point Mrs Glü, refusing to go downstairs, “I won’t leave the tower! Down there I could fall into despair!”
