DOSBox Basics on Linux

I had a little fun with DOSBox on my openSUSE Tumbleweed Linux machine. I had to do a lot of searching to understand a basic thing, so this blathering distills it down to eliminate that barrier of (re)entry into DOS, but on Linux.
