Nature Cure

The wild has been bred out of us.
We are creatures bent to city form.
Citizens of common culture
down graded along the main stream,
abraded to fit
today’s fashion scene.
Wild instructions tug deep,
feed bloodlines unappeased,
misnamed disease.
