Good morning/afternoon/evening and welcome to today's #checkin. Today is the 3rd Advent and also National Poinsettia Day.
The plan originates in Mexico and was used by the Aztecs and there is a legend that a poor girl brought seeds to Jesus manger, and they turned into beautiful Poinsettias. They are common here in Europe, in Germany we call it Christmas star, but they don't last that long here and also not that ideal for pets.

Do you have any other flowers/plants in your area that bloom around this time? Or do you gift/like plants as gifts?
