A YELLOW DAY
I'm no fun.
I don't have one speck of yellow
on my walls, or in the closet.
No yellow on my bed, or curtains.
No yellow towels, soap or flowers.

But I have a yellow lemon, and grapefruit,
yellow butter and the yellow yokes of eggs.
I have yellow honey and I bake yellow cornbread.
I have a book about the Yellow Emperor of China.
