Adding inflatable sail to shipping boats to cut fuel consumption by up to 20%
This is an old idea that is coming up again. Sadly it didn't catch up in the 70s and the idea was killed by shipping companies who didn't want to have the extra initial cost and the loss of space due to the sales on shipping boats.
Hopefully this time it will get funding and support from companies who are interested in cutting their fuel costs and become more environmentally counciense.
