Need to donate platelets and re-up my flu and covid vaccinations, esp. since US covid surge gains momentum; nearly all states rising, 1M/daily infections expected by NYE.
Five more days to Xmas and I still don't have a firm dinner menu. Eeeps. Did manage to hit the grocers late enough last night that I was one of very few customers there. Cashier looked bored. Bought what I might want to cook for Xmas dinner, but it's all still up in the air.
Didn’t put up outside Xmas lights as planned since the neighbors took care of the whole Xmas Spirit thing, lights-wise. Plenty of light pollution out there, but I'm not complaining as there's no street light where we really need one.
Going to head down the the San Diego History Center to catch the “Aloha Vaqueros” exhibit that traces cowboy roots from Mexico to Hawaii and centers on San Diego. Be a nice followup to our visit to Big Island.
