"AKP-MHP fascism has launched a new wave of attacks against our Movement and our people. Against this wave of fascist attacks, the need for an active struggle has become inevitable. We declare that we have suspended the unilateral ceasefire that we have taken as of today," says the Co-Chair of the KCK Executive Committee in an official statement.

The unilateral ceasefire was implemented by the KCK after the February 6 earthquakes, moreover the KCK continued its implementation during the election period in Turkey as a way not to add grounds for new Turkish aggressions.

The KCK denounces that, during the period of inaction, Turkey continued with the attacks and intensified them in recent months with airstrike campaigns with UCAVs against important Kurdish members.
