From my ongoing series of animals that live in a German animal shelter...

Gizmo

Gizmo was suddenly unwanted in his old home and had to leave immediately. That's how the little 1-year-old terrier mix ended up at our shelter. At the beginning he was very shy but soon he showed that he thinks he is a big boy ;-) As a small, young dog, we quickly found people interested in him and he recently moved to his new home.

The intention of my posts is not to find people that adopt those pets. This German animal shelter accepts only local adoptions and has a very good placement rate. My intention is to raise awareness for all those beautiful pets in the shelters out there waiting for you to be their hero. Go to your nearest animal shelter to find your new pet. Adopt! Don't shop!
