Piaggio P.180 Ass-on
The P.180 is a fairly unusual aircraft. It is built by Piaggio, better known for their road vehicles e.g. the famous Vespa although they have a long history in the aircraft industry.
It's a shame they don't use the same naming convention for their aircraft as they do for their road vehicles - Vespa (Wasp), Ape (Bee) - since "Angry Hornet" would be quite appropriate for this aircraft ;-)
This particular example is flown by ENAV, the Italian agency providing air traffic control in national airspace, and is used for verifying the operation of navigational radio beacons at airports.
