Open Source Android Find My Device app that works without any Google services

You can control FMD (and thus your phone) either via SMS or via FMD Server (server can be self-hosted too). You send a command to the phone (e.g. “fmd ring”) and the phone executes it.

Features:

• Locate the device (using GPS or cellular location)
• Lock the device
• Let the device ring
• Take pictures with the device’s camera to see its surroundings
• Factory-reset the device

As they advise, it is better to install the app through the F-Droid store so that you get updates when they come out.
