From my ongoing series of animals that live in a German animal shelter...

Ellie

Ellie, who is 14 years old, has to stay with us at the shelter for a few days because her owner, who lives alone, had to go to the hospital for some examinations. For Ellie this change is very stressful, even though the volunteers do their best to make her stay as nice as possible. The temporary separation is also very difficult for her owner, but unfortunately he saw no other option.

The intention of my posts is not to find people that adopt those pets. This German animal shelter accepts only local adoptions and has a very good placement rate. My intention is to raise awareness for all those beautiful pets in the shelters out there waiting for you to be their hero. Go to your nearest animal shelter to find your new pet. Adopt! Don't shop!
