Having diagnosed with diabetes, I lost my lovely pleasure of having chocolate spread in my fresh baked pita bread.
Decided to make an experiment with peanut butter, cocoa powder and stevia and mixing them well together and I have to say, I am not disappointed.
Bought the peanut butter from Asian market when I was in Paris last time and mixed the stevia and cocoa powder with some hot water before adding it to peanut butter.
It was a bit hard to mix it well but it ended up really good. Smooth and rich taste of chocolate and peanut (it is different than hazelnut used in most chocolate spreads) but doesn't have any artificial flavor or cooking oil in it either.
