... c'mon, seriously think people are still sufficiently in the terrorised and totalitarianised limbic myopic stupor as to scare the representatives into clamouring for more of the harm they're complicit in... ? what, is it like the uusa prisons turning up the heat on prisoners who complained about the heat (that's an actual thing that has happened many times, often to lethal effect), people complained about the total inversion of every right thing to do into wrong thing to do, and in response, the promise to do that wrong thing, twice as hard, faster?
