Discovered in 1910 by the esteemed British archaeologist Howard Carter in Pit tomb CC 25, Thebes, this specific set is currently housed within the Metropolitan #Museum of Art.
The board is supported by legs resembling those of bulls, and features a pull-out drawer containing five hound and five jackal pieces.
