Dark, distant images
indistinct, not a sign.
Or a sign of indecision,
others’ visions, or mine?
Silent, stagnant river
won’t reply to my tears.
Cold blood, frozen limbs
no longer carry on from here.

not regret

answer your demands,
share your values and concerns?
How was your vote earned?

Secreted energies
integral, emerging
creating, manipulating elements,
evocation, brutal emotional
power.
Unbending will, stronger than any
storm.
Inheld. Hugged and sheltered
within this private world,

Fixed in memory
the 6th of January's
riot and treasonous plots
I see no reason why
riotous treason
should ever be forgot.
