BLUE MONDAY - Until now, I've been ignoring the fact that some have been observing Jan 17th as the gloomiest day of the year since 2005. The psychologist who suggested this concept used a formula which includes many factors: weather at this time of year, people’s probable level of debt, time after Christmas and other festivities and new year’s resolutions, generally lower motivation levels, yada yada... IMO, the best rebuttal, by another pro, is depression is not a 24 hr phenomenon. 🤣🤣 So, regardless of whether you're feeling blue/not, jump in with your opinion on this controversial day, introduce any related thought or celebrate with the rich tradition of BLUES music and art.
