CPC Invaders 2021 (Amstrad CPC)

I really like this take on Space Invaders type games. It uses blocky tile style movement, which is suitable for a lot of primitive computers and also some more unusual Commodore 64 graphics modes, so I may do something like this in C64 ... maybe something a bit like Zelda.

Only one Invader moves at a time, which gives a classic Space Invaders speed-up effect. An interesting twist is how "swoopers" do not necessarily return back to their original position. Instead, they can swoop to a lower position, suddenly becoming more of a threat to reach the bottom! I like it.
