I named her Bonita. Back then, almost 10 years ago, when I saw her for the first time on my property, a good bit outside the city. Since then I have been feeding her and a few other strays. Soon Bonita came when I called her, but she wouldn't let me touch her. Until now! It finally "clicked" and I was allowed to stroke her back.

Ich habe sie Bonita genannt. Damals, vor fast 10 Jahren, als ich sie zum ersten Mal auf meinem Grundstück, ein gutes Stück außerhalb der Stadt, sah. Seitdem habe ich sie und ein paar andere Streuner gefüttert. Bald kam Bonita, wenn ich sie rief, aber sie ließ sich nicht von mir anfassen. Bis jetzt! Endlich hat es "Klick" gemacht und ich durfte ihren Rücken streicheln.
