Since it’s just the two of use, we frequently end up with more than one meal when we cook. Kind of nice because most of the stuff we make is … intricate. The most processed ingredients are tinned chickpeas and tomatoes – not together most of the time. Fred is a flatbread king, from tortillas to pita to roti he makes it look effortless and the results are always good. I think my favourite is pizza though. We do a sourdough pizza dough and home made pizza sauce. Since we do personal pizzas, he can stick to his vegan options and I can pile on cheese. Pizza dough and sauce will last 4 days in the fridge and a lot longer in the freezer.
What is your favourite prepare ahead meal/left over?
I try to keep things light but this is your thread so … there’s always an element of randomness. Grab your beverage preference (pixel or not) and enjoy the space.
