You can't always find common ground with some people. Disagreements can happen. But that does not mean those you disagree with are spreading disinformation. Sometimes you just don't see things the same way. We are all different. We all think different. We all view things different. I not only respect others who disagree with me, I welcome it. Because that's what makes us all human. Having our own opinions, even in contrast to others is ok. If we all believed the same way, there would be not individuality. No right vs wrong. And no freedom from conformity.

I may not always agree with people on Diaspora, but I will always respect other people's views, even if it opposes my own. I'm ok with that. Some may block me over it. Some may be willing to accept that the world does not always agree with one side or the other and can look beyond differences to see we are all human. Some will call opposing views as disinformation. I call it freedom from totalitarianism.

Don't let someone tell you that you cannot believe the things you want to believe or hold the opinions you want to hold. Do not let someone dictate to you how you will view the world, and how you will think. You have the right to think how you want to think. It's ok for others to not agree with you. They can call your views misinformation all they want to. It does not devalue or discredit your views, opinions or beliefs. They are just unable to accept that others disagree with them. You have just as much right to think the way you think as they do. Don't allow them to dictate who you are.
