After a few days dealing with Swedish authorities, banks and businesses, I had to contact the French health insurance.
My card went bad in April and I requested a new one. Sent the picture of myself and scan of my passport together with latest electricity bill via their web site, it was denied, tried again, passport copy did not pass their approval, sent again with high resolution scan, this time they did not accept my picture.
demanded that I send a paper copy, so I did in May. Nothing happen. Called and they said they will send another form.
Sent the copy and my picture and the bill once again in early June. Nothing happened, called and they told me that it is in the process.
Today I called, after 30 minutes wait, got to talk to a nice lady, she told me that my old card is still active and they have no record of it being canceled or taken out of the system. Logged in the system trying to report it lost, and got the message "You do not have an active insurance card in the system", told the lady and she said that their system is not fully connected to the App, so I have to use the web site.
Same problem.
30 minutes later, she got back to me and apologized for the problem, she had found all my mail, web posts and paper copies scanned in the system that was never put into my account.
She ordered me a new card that I will receive between 2-4 weeks!
I just hope that it works this time!
