15 August. Interfax-Russia.ru - Russian high-precision weapons, as well as those based on new physical principles, are years and decades ahead of their foreign counterparts and far superior in their tactical and technical characteristics, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
"Of particular interest are promising designs and systems that are future-oriented and will shape tomorrow's armed forces," he said, speaking at the opening of the Army-2022 international military and technical forum and the Army International Games 2022.
Putin explained that "we are talking about high-precision weapons and robotics, combat systems based on new physical principles.
"Many of them are years, maybe decades, ahead of their foreign counterparts, and in terms of their tactical and technical characteristics are significantly superior to them," he added.
Putin also said that Russian weapons are valued all over the world for their reliability, quality and high efficiency.
