#France and #Germany have begun a joint collaboration with #Japan to develop a truck-launched #railgun that can propel a projectile to a speed of Mach 6.8.

This railgun cannon can deliver a cannonball three times the range of current bullets, which is expected to reach a range of 120 to 150 km.

Question is how long will it take to reload the unit between each shot and if it is really worth it. But since it is military, no one cares about the price and real life use.
