Pro-tip - While airbnb requires a copy of your government issued ID as well as a photograph of your face which is only allowed to be taken either with a webcam or their mobile app (i.e. requiring you to have a "smart phone"), some sites like vrbo.com allow you to book a rental just using your payment information.
