idk how anyone we’re gonna be offered to have faux-elections for is gonna be legit worth our time, in usa’s current multiple-layers of democracy-prevention. the gerrymandering, the lobbying, the electoral college, the proprietary black-box voting machines, the 2-partyizing system (the corruption thereof even that, unto duopoly), the normalised bribery (/“donations”, etc (+lobbying again)), the pedo blackmail, the military industrial complex, the corporatism, the nepotism, the oiligarch/plutarchy/kleptarchy/kakistarchy/attercoparchy, the corporate media propaganda, the corporatism (/fascism), the chemical lobotomies, the insularising hypnotising rote dogmas of supremacy/hegemony/jingoism disonantly aside the rote professing “we are free” [oblivious subtex addendum “to do what we tell you”], the voter preventions (not least of which, the world’s largest prison population (which doubles as abject slavery), the police state (and so corrupt they’re the biggest perpetrators of theft, because they rebranded it as asset forfeiture, ha!), the for-profit-medicine system depriving people of healthcare at all (especially the poor who struggle to even access the poisonous palliatives and extra brain-rotters), the mccarthyian hangover (which some are having hefty hair-of-the-dog re-dosings of), the orwellian contractions and conflations and contortions of language depriving the populace of the means to express and share ideas of freedom/democracy/egality/etc thus depriving many of even conceiving of these ideas, pitchforks vs torches ploys played on people through media, cia & beyond-black depriving people of the means of emancipation, corporate-state terror, …

… and yet… hope lays with the american people.
