Seventeen trucks, carrying #humanitarian aid including fuel, have passed through the Rafah border corridor to provide assistance to residents and civilian institutions in the #Gaza Strip.
However, #Israeli aircraft have conducted strikes on the south of the enclave since this morning. Explosions were reported in the cities of #Rafah and #KhanYunis. No recent Israeli Air Force activity has been observed in the area.
This is good news that the pressure the allow fuel into Gaza has worked, without fuel, they can't bake bread or cook food.
But for a population of 2 millions, these few trucks won't do much.
