My daughters have social anxiety issues and had lots of problems living in US.

Moving to Sweden has given them a taste of living in a safe and comfortable environment where they can be completely independent and feel comfortable to meet new people.

Through "international student" welcome program in Göteborg, they have met many interesting people from around the world, most of them older than them, in their 20s studying for masters degrees which is an added bonus to be able to meet young, ambitious, muliti culture people studying in different fields to help them explore their options and to learn from different opportunities young European students have.

This is a group picture from earlier when they went "island hoping", a free tour of few islands close to Göteborg and only thing they needed to bring was their lunch and desert to share.

I'm really proud of them, because they struggle to be in groups specially with people they don't know and "older .

And as my older daughter said last time we discussed her best feeling about these events was " NOT BEING AFRAID TO GET SHOT", which is a truly sad thing for a young woman to say after a weekend of fun.

But it's getting better every day and last sunday they walked to their apartment at 4AM because they missed the last bus. Coming home they ate breakfast before they went to bed.
