When one is happy to see a European hornet rather than the dreaded Asian Hornet.

Apparently the European hornet is doing well this year...Good for them :)

Even though some Asian hornet have been seen and destroyed in UK they are luckily not as widespread as there are in Europe. The only bad affected area is Jersey where an eradication/control plan is ongoing.
