#dncconvention
Bill Clinton just HAD to go there, didn't he. He should have brought his sax along for that.
He was saying how Trump opens up with "Me me me me "....
..and Kamala was all "You you you", like he was channeling the Blues Brothers from Sweet Home Chicago, in a rendition of Everybody Needs Somebody.
Hit it, Jake & Elwood!

ICYMI...
I saw a post earlier about how Derrick Johnson, President of the NAACP, showed up for his Black job at the #DNCconvention --but as it happens, I also got an email with a statement by him, with a ICYMI link, which takes you to a Donate page. The email said the following, and I quote Mr. Johnson...
""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
This evening I did my Black job and represented us on stage at the Democratic National Convention with Melanie Campbell, President and CEO of the National Coalition on Black Civic Participation.
I reflected on how, since the founding of our nation, our foremothers and forefathers have been on an unending march to perfect our imperfect union.
Tonight, we’re here to celebrating the power of the collective. Of what is possible when we are all in, for all people.
But as we do, let us not forget the history that preceded this moment – or the history-makers who prepared us for it.
Fannie Lou Hamer, whose speech at this very convention sixty years ago paved the way for Mississippi’s first racially integrated delegation.
Harold Washington, whose historic leadership of this very city made him the first, but not the last.
And Reverend Jesse Jackson, whose lifelong fight for justice inspires us to keep hope alive.
This history is not just Black history, it is American history. And with this historic nomination, we will write the next chapter, together.
Together, we can work to usher in a new generation of progress! From now until the final ballot is tallied, the NAACP and Black voters need your support. Will you make a generous donation tonight to fuel our teams working on the ground and join the fight?

The vid is also on YouTube, but here's the Donation link. It's worthy.
