Still more RSS coolneff: StackOverflow feeds
So, with multitail and rsstail, the ability to follow impromptu RSS feeds is provided.
I've been trying to find out why some GNOME features seem to have evaporated, and asked the question in a few places. I'm pretty much assured of getting notified of responses at reddit, but StackExchange I check a little less religiously.
Turns out there's a feed for individual questions among other RSS feeds, and you can monitor those.
So now I've got an rsstail running on that particular feed to let me know what turns up. And since it's impromptu, I don't have to remember to add / remove it from my permanent feeds list(s). It's just a terminal window.
