I promised myself a long time ago I would never, ever, host an email server.

I've just installed an email server 😅

A combination of massive influx of #Fediverse users and #Socialhome still not having in-app notifications, just email notifications, has meant I ran out of my daily #MailJet send quota. And I'm not going to start paying $15 or such a month just for my social app notifications.

#Mailu seemed like a nice little project to try, and indeed it worked nicely out of the box. Now I have my Socialhome email notifications on a completely separate domain from my personal email, and delivery so far seems reliable - yay! Find Mailu here: https://mailu.io

Still not going to move my personal emails to self-hosted. Email is way too critical.
